This morning we met at Parr field to pull more weeds. Again, many of the weeds were purslane, or verdolagas, and could’ve been harvested for food. So we left a lot of them there for harvest in the next few days or else they will go to seed and we can harvest them next year. We were happy to see the milpa doing so well with our first harvest of peas, or alberjon. Here you see Kiko and Cody helping out with our second wave of weeding… Now we go to harvest apricots…
