It is awesome when it rains almost immediately after the fields are planted. This is exactly what has happened to us at Parr Field in two of our three years. As we were approaching the afternoon on Thursday, we actually had to hurry up and take down our tent shelter, pack our tools, and hurry up and plant the last row as the weather came in big time. It then rained for good periods of time over three days and nights. It is great when this happens as it is a blessing but also means that nature will take care of germinating the seeds and getting the garden started rather than us having to figure it out…
